Students who wish to apply for the scholarship nee­d to have the U.S. equivalent of bachelor degree and at least 3 years of work experience in that particular field that they wish to study.

The scholarship covers expenses on tuition fee, travel, books, and a stipend for ease of living.

The grant can be availed by students who wish to pursue a career in Arts and Culture, Environmental Science, Legal Studies, Public Health, Gender Studies, Urban and Regional Planning, and Public Administration.

2. Tata Scholarship

The scholarship provides the financial grant to 20 Indian students to study at Cornell University, USA. Those Indian students who have secured admission to Cornell University can apply for the grant, on the need basis. The scholarship by Tata Education and Development Trust covers expenses on study, living, food, medical, and travel for undergraduate programs.

The scholarship is granted in the field of Architecture, Engineering, Economics, Agriculture, and Life Sciences.

The application for the grant opens around October-November each year.

The total number of students supported under the scholarship are 20.

3. Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship

The scholarship is awarded to the students of the Commonwealth countries including India.

The scholarship is restricted to students who aspire to do masters or PhD from the UK.

In order to avail the grant, one should be an Indian citizen, and should have secured at least 60% in Social Sciences and Humanities or at least 65% in STEM courses.

The scholarship covers tuition fee, airfare, and other living expenses.

Students who wish to study STEM courses, Humanities, & Social Sciences can apply for the scholarship.

4. Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarships

The students who have got admission to Newcastle University can apply for the fellowship. It is offered by the university itself based on merit and diversity.

Those students who have been extended an offer to study at the university in either UG or PG courses are eligible for this grant.

The fellowship extends an aid of £3,000 towards the tuition fee for a year.

The application for the scholarships opens in February. However, there are no separate applications for the same. The University on its own considers international students for the grant.

5. Chevening Scholarships

The fellowship is granted by the United Kingdom government to encourage Indian students and professionals to take on leadership positions in the future. It provides financial assistance in completing a one-year master’s program in the UK.

The students and professionals who have completed UG or PG degree and have at least two year of work experience in the field in which they want to pursue their higher education.

The Chevening Fellowship provides aid for expenditure on tuition fee, living expenses, cost of travelling, and other allowances. Moreover, the scholarship provides full or partial financial assistance as per the need of the candidate.
